Our hearts are the most critical organ in our bodies.  When our hearts stop working correctly, we stop working correctly. This is true with our spiritual hearts as well.

Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” If we don’t realize the depravity, deception, and fleshly desires in our hearts, we will become spiritually sick. This 40-day journey is like open-heart surgery on our spiritual hearts. It will help us dig deep to purge out what is attacking us and guide us toward having healthy hearts.  Health doesn’t happen by osmosis. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” If we want a healthy spiritual life, we must be intentional to know what is going on inside of us and invite God to help us to change. Let’s look from the Inside Out and attack the unhealthy places, so we can live the victorious life God’s planned for us!
