Cru Winter Conference /// Los Angeles

Thank you so much for praying for our Cru Winter Conference where 1,012 college students attended. We know that 14 students prayed to receive Christ and 235 are applying for summer missions! The picture on the top right are the students we sponsored through your contributions.

They represented 6 different schools that have no Cru ministry on them. Here is what a few of them said about their own personal experience:

“I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to grow spiritually and further my relationship with Christ. The Holy Spirit moved boldly during the conference in ways that impacted me deeply.” - Derek

“I can’t thank you enough for your support and what you allowed God to do in my life.”
- Jenessa

“I got freedom from some things I have been struggling with. God has helped me realize what I need to reset in my life.” - Curtis

“God has truly opened my heart this weekend…the chains have been broken…I’m blessed to be able to share God’s love with those around me!” - Domonique

“I cannot express how grateful I am to have gone and experience God in a new, powerful way.” - Jacob

“I cried so much and Jesus was speaking so loud to me this weekend.” - Yuli

“Your generosity has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and be the person God made me to be.” - Debbie

One of the highlights was the Day of Outreach. There were 705 spiritual conversations, 221 gospel conversations and 9 decisions for Christ. Some of the students met a homeless woman whom they did a survey with. One of the questions was, “What’s one thing you want to do before you die?” She immediately replied, “I’d love to get a manicure/pedicure.” The students were so touched by her humble response that they scheduled a date to come back and hang with her while she got a mani/pedi. Who knew displaying compassion could mean giving someone the gift of manicured nails!?

Thank you for your prayers and support so that more students could be challenged to walk with Jesus and share Jesus with others!
