Websites and Staff Conference Ahead

Websites and Staff Conference Ahead

Matt’s role with Cru is behind the scenes, but crucial for Cru's ministry to have an impact on college students. Here are three websites Matt has been tasked with redesigning. The first one is a college campus template featuring our new Cru branding, which will be replicated for all Cru campus websites. This website will be used to promote Cru ministries on all U.S. college campuses.

The second site is MuKappa, a ministry that Cru has inherited, focusing on students who have grown up in a cross-cultural setting. Over 10,000 “Third Culture Kids” have been impacted by MuKappa. This website is designed to help acclimate them to life in the U.S. and to establish meaningful relationships with God, family, and others.

The third site is Cru’s international ministry website, Bridges International. This website focuses on international students who are coming to the U.S. to study abroad and connect with our Cru ministries on campus.

As he works on these websites, Holly is starting her second year in the Doctorate of Ministry program at Phoenix Seminary. Please pray that she can complete her studies before her next class begins on August 5th, as the kids are home and we have a busy July ahead.

We head to Milwaukee July 11-19 for our bi-annual Cru staff conference. While we are at the conference, Carter and Briella will attend “Cru Kids Camp” with other missionary kids. This is a required conference to help us hear from our ministry leaders and grow in vision, unity, and clarity of our mission. With flights ($2,000), hotel ($2,900), food ($1,300), conference and camp costs ($2,300), and car parking ($300), the total cost will be $8,800.

Would you please consider giving a special gift toward our summer expenses?
You can provide a tax-deductible donation online at our Cru Give page: give.cru.org/0666187. Thank you for considering partnering with us as we serve God out of our giftings for His glory and to further the Great Commission!

Personal Update

Matt had his follow-up with the cardiologist and his heart is now functioning perfectly! The “weak heart” as they called it, now seems strong! Thank you so much for praying for him!

Thank you for your prayers and love for our family! We love serving the Lord alongside you!
