Sharing Jesus with High School Students from 22 Countries

Sharing Jesus with High School Students from 22 Countries

Our children attend Dream City Christian School. One reason we love having them there is the school’s commitment to reaching international students. Dream City hosts more international students than any other school in the United States. Currently, students from 22 countries, including the United States, are represented at the school. Ninety percent of the international students do not identify as Christians. This presents a vast mission field that our children have the opportunity to be a part of.

Holly had the opportunity to speak at the Junior High and High School chapel last week, clearly explaining the gospel and guiding them to a point of decision. She also encouraged believers to boldly share Jesus with others. We do not yet know the results of this gathering in the spiritual realm, but we ask that you pray for these international students to accept Jesus so that we can disciple them before they return to their home countries. Some are here for just one year, while others will be here for all four years of high school.

Another need is for Christian host families who are willing to provide housing for international students during the school year. Would you please pray that people in our area would consider hosting a student so that they can experience the love of Jesus in their living and school environments? This presents a significant evangelistic opportunity. We can reach many countries right from our children’s school!

Personal Update

Briella got her braces off and turned 10 last month! She is also getting baptized this Easter! We couldn't be more excited to see what God has in store for her as she continues to follow Him.
Matt has a follow-up appointment on June 4th for his weak heart. He appears to be doing slightly better. Thank you for praying for him.
Holly will attend her next seminary class from May 5 to 9. She is also writing a book titled, “The Mountain of God: Exploring the Mountains of Scripture and How They Relate to Us.” She hopes to accomplish significant research and writing during the summer months while continuing her studies for her Doctorate of Ministry.
Carter is doing well and loves school (a true nerd!).

Thank you for your prayers and love for our family! We love serving the Lord alongside you!
