Watch Parties Lead Students to Christ
Holly has just finished writing the evangelistic discussion guide for Season 5 of The Chosen series. These guides are being used at Watch Parties across the country and around the world to engage non-believers in the life of Jesus.
A church-based campus ministry called Acts 2 is partnering with Cru to host watch parties on 38 campuses nationwide. These watch parties are also happening internationally in Romania, Congo, the Philippines, and Mongolia.
Kellisyn, a student at Northern Illinois University, attended Cru’s “Watch Party” on September 4th. After watching the first episode of Season 1, the students discussed it over pizza. Kellisyn was so intrigued by the show that she binge-watched the rest of Season 1 that same night.
The next day, a Cru staff member met with Kellisyn over coffee and discussed the life of Jesus and the gospel. That evening, 24 hours after her first watch party, Kellisyn accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Praise God for this life that has been saved and now can grow in community and discipleship.

Personal Update
Carter turned 12 this past month! He was so excited to have school on his birthday because he just loves school!
Please pray for Holly as she teaches alongside the pastor’s wife, Melissa, for their church’s women’s retreat, Nov. 14-16. The theme is “Blessed Assurance” from 1 John and how we can know that we are saved.
